New Technology for Owner Services Department

February 27, 2009

I’m pleased to announce that we’ve upgraded the telephone system in the InnSeason’s Owner Services department to the latest in communication software. Created and designed by Noble Systems of Atlanta, the system now allows us to handle and track calls much more efficiently.  If you call us from a telephone number that we already have on file, your account information will pop onto the screen for the agents to see!

How does this help you, our members? We will now be better able to schedule and staff for peak call periods, calls will be answered sooner and will take less time. And, best of all, we can now transfer you to Interval International. We no longer have to ask you to call them; with the touch of a button we’ll whisk you off to the Interval offices.

I do want to thank those members that called this week for their patience. We were installing the system and naturally had some hiccups. Early on we couldn’t transfer callers from one person to another.  More than once I simply put on someone’s headset to speak with an owner rather than risk losing the call.

The system will also allow us to send out auto voicemails to our members. We can already think of ways to utilize this service for special announcements, points specials, accrual notices, point expirations and other topics.

Hopefully you’ll see the benefits of the new system right away. I’m proud and pleased to tell you that the staff are excited to have such a great tool to help service our members. We’ll do anything we can to get you on vacation.

Specialty Week Ends Continue

February 20, 2009

The first few InnSeason Vacation Club Specialty week ends have met with great success. We have three more coming up. The details are below.

Brew Pub Week End at the Falls of Ogunquit is just around the corner. On February 28 you can tour and taste the delicacies of the Federal Jacks Brew Pub. We’ll take the resort van just in case some enjoy the tastings too much!

Cape Cod Cooking Class is being held at Captains Quarters Resort in Falmouth on March 7. Come and learn how to cook and open quahogs as well as other Cape Cod specialties from Chef David. It promises to be an enjoyable and educational evening.

We also are looking forward to InnSeason Day at Loon Mountain on March 22. While still in the planning stages we are planning on goofy races, a scavenger hunt as well as a cook out. It should be a fun for all.

The two resort events have a limited capacity, so please call 888-333-1535 soon if you are interested. We’ll send out more information regarding the Loon day later this month.

Wine Weekend was Wonderful!

February 2, 2009

wine-dinner-2If you didn’t get a chance to travel to Ogunquit for this week’s Wine Weekend.. you missed out!

What a great time it was.  Guests arrived in Maine on Friday evening, dropped the bags and walked over to the cocktail party.  About 20 guests were there and the laughs kept rolling!

Everyone was slow to wake on Saturday morning, so that gave them ample time to rest up before the main dinner.  Around 5:15pm the Angelina’s doors opened and the wine flowed.  The room was set with two family style tables of 20 people.  At first, I must admit I was worried that people may not want to sit with strangers.  Well, my fears were nonsence.  The wine and the laughter and the stories never ended.

Angelina’s prepared wonderful courses and the wine pairing was perfect.  We tried wines that no one had heard of, a real treat. Mike Connolly with Palm Bay Imports hosted everyone with tales of Italian Wine folklore and a few wine induced stories as well!

We had so much fun.  As the dinner ended, Angelina’s famous bartender Chris took over.  He created some great Martini’s for us and we continued the evening as if it was New Year’s Eve….

Seriously, if you are looking for something different to do with your weekend, a get-a-way that will recharge you..come to the next  Wine Dinner.

See you soon!

Specialty Week Ends a Hit!

February 2, 2009

We’ve had three Specialty Week ends so far this year. Two were great successes and one was slow. I attribute the slow week end to being too close to the year end holidays. The recent Wine Dinner Week end was held at Angelina’s in Ogunquit was sold out! All reports are that it was a lot of fun with good company, good food and good wine. All of that was available for under 30,000 points.

Upcoming week ends include events at Cannon and Loon, a brew-pub week end at Federal Jacks in Kennebunkport, a cooking class in Falmouth and then a Cape Cod week end in Falmouth with lighthouse tours, Cape Cod Winery and Cape Cod Potato Chip factory tours.

They are your Points, go out and use them!
