Ogunquit Outings


Ogunquit, Maine is so much more than just a quaint New England seaside village.   There’s a great history there and lots of activities for the whole family to enjoy!

Take a ride on the Trolley and enjoy the sights! It’s a great way to enjoy Ogunquit. You can even take a trip into York or Kennebunkport via connecting trolleys!

Go Deep Sea Fishing.  Maine is famous for its heritage of lobstermen and fishermen.  Go test your hand at this see what you can catch.  With a few boats located right in Perkins Cove, you’re bound to have fun while you try to catch something!

Take a trip up to L.L. Bean.  Open 24/7/365, this is a fun trip just to see the famous store and all it has to offer!  It’s about an hour north of Ogunquit but it’s worth the trip.  Not only can you check out the flagship store, but there are also a few outlets along the way too!  The Hunting and Fishing Store, the Home Store, and the Bike, Boat and Ski Store are also great stops!

Explore some lighthouses.  The coast of Maine is famous for its lighthouses.  With five lighthouses right in the beaches region and more to the north, there are a lot of great opportunities see these working lighthouses.  Check with each location to see if they are offering free tours!

Walk around Perkins Cove and the Marginal Way.   Paved walkway takes you to some of the most quaint shops and beautiful views of this small fishing village.  The Marginal Way takes you along the ocean cliffs and is roughly 1 and quarter mile long.   Take your time and enjoy the beauty of Coastal Maine!
