What to Do:

Loon Mountain is almost literally across the street from Pollard Brook.  Year round, there is always something to do at Loon!  In the winter, skiing and snowboarding are the best option although tubing and ice skating are also offered.  In the summer, Loon has some great trails to hike and offers rides to the peak for some great vistas!

The Hobo Railroad is another great way to see the White Mountain Region.  Take a scenic train ride with the kids or enjoy one of the dinner trains that sometimes run in the summer.

Explore the White Mountains National Forrest.  With hundreds of trails, scenic drives, and historic places, this national park is one in a million.  The views are spectacular any time of year and no matter how many times you visit, there’s always something new to see!

Outdoors aren’t your favorite thing?  How about a little shopping?  Whether it be taking the trip to North Conway or Tilton for the outlet shopping or stopping along the way at some of the smaller businesses, there’s plenty of shopping to be done!

In the summer – enjoy a show at the Papermill Theater!  Located right in town, each season brings a little bit of Broadway to the White Mountains.

Enjoy a great meal!  With some wonderful restaurants in Lincoln and neighboring Woodstock, there’s something for everyone’s taste!  The Common Man is a popular locale for many with a great menu!  Also try the Woodstock Inn Station & Brewery for some great local brews and some delicious food – most of it is made with locally grown products!

In the Spring, go see some waterfalls!  The more snow, the more spectacular the waterfalls!  There are maps you can get from the White Mountain visitor center.  Some of falls do require a hike while others can be seen just while taking a scenic drive!

The Fall is one of the more popular seasons to visit the White Mountains – the leaves are changing and the mountains are majestic in their red, orange and golden blankets.  If you are able to get up there, the Highland Games is a great weekend!  Come and celebrate the Scottish heritage of many who settled in the White Mountain region.

Whatever you choose to do during your stay, just make sure you have fun.  Whether it be relaxing by the outdoor pool, roasting marshmallows in the new fire pit, or simply enjoying the views from your unit Pollard Brook will give you many memories to treasure!
